Every other year I have a “Baby Parade” at our church during the morning services.  We do this for all children 2 years of age and under.  The pianist plays “Jesus Loves Me” as the parents bring their babies up to the platform.  As the pastor, I introduce each child and his/her parents to the congregation.  Each family is given a copy of John Rice’s book on the home.  At the end of introductions, I give a short challenge and a prayer of protection and blessing. 

We encourage extended families to be there.  Many will come and hear the gospel at such a special time
