Once every couple of years I have set aside a Sunday to honor our local educators.  Everyone enjoys being recognized for something that they do.  Prior to this special Sunday we print attractive  flyers inviting all teachers and administrators to join us on that day.  We encourage the parents to get these in the hands of every teacher.

On that Sunday morning I bring them to the platform to introduce themselves as well as stating where they teach.  Following this we give each educator a gift and have a word of prayer for them.   Be sure a good clear gospel message is given on this day.  Such a day will build a bridge for you into the school system as well as show them that you care.
