As our staff has grown over the years I have found it necessary to produce a staff manual which is available only to our staff.  A staff manual allows for consistency as well as protection for the pastor and employee.  The manual will also help to keep all employees working toward the same purpose and goals.  Our manual is  approximately 25 pages long and includes:

·         Pastor’s Philosophy of Ministry

·         Planning

·         Significant Scheduling

·         Anticipation

·         Making Ministry Assessments

Regardless of what you put in your manual I encourage you to have one in place.
